COMMERCIAL BUILDING SURVEYS


If you are purchasing the Freehold interest in a factory, office, shop or other business property, whether for your own use or to be Leased, you will be responsible for maintaining the structure and fabric of the property.


A Building Survey is a detailed inspection of the property and a comprehensive report which describes the properties structural condition and state of repair including a detailed analysis of any structural or other defects.


The report can be tailored to suit your specific requirements and includes technical advise on identified problems a with recommendations on remedial work or future maintenance.


 


This type of report does not include a Valuation as this falls outside our professional expertise. Nor do we usually include an Insurance Valuation, but this can be arranged at the same time if required.


Our Surveyors will always discuss your requirements before visiting the property and will be pleased to discuss any details arising once the inspection has been completed, and again when you have received the completed report.


The report will also be supplemented by a number of colour photographs illustrating the property and any defects noted during the inspection.
